OVERVIEW
Please Note: This position is located in Hope Valley, RI.
The Site Supervisor is responsible for on-site supervision of Direct Support Professionals (DSP), in collaboration with the Program Manager. This includes providing program-specific training to new employees, ensuring agency policies, procedures, and core values are upheld and individuals supported live valued and high-quality lives. Site Supervisors are responsible for maintaining environmental, vehicle maintenance, safety and emergency preparedness and ensuring household needs are met. In addition, it is essential that Site Supervisors are actively promoting community integration and person-centered direct support.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school degree or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in providing direct support to recipients of community human services.
- Demonstrates excellence in providing Direct Support to individuals served.
- Good computer skills
- Valid driver’s license, insured vehicle.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- An Associate’s Degree or certificate in a human services field or related experience.
- Supervisory experience or Leadership training.
- 3 years of direct support experience in community human services.
