OVERVIEW
ASL Training Specialists facilitate trainings for both current employees and members of the community. The ASL Training Specialist will provide ongoing support to participants, providing 1:1 instruction, if needed.
Hours & Schedule: Varied to include: Tuesday & Thursday 9:30 am-12:00 pm and/or 5:30 pm-8:00 pm (virtual sessions and in-person classes).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalents
- Previous facilitation of training experience
- Strong presentation and public-speaking abilities
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent inter-personal skills
- Ability to be proactive, self-motivated and self-directed
- Fluent in American Sign Language
- Awareness of and sensitivity to Deaf/Hard ofHearing (DHOH) culture
- Flexible schedule
- Reliable transportation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel & Word
- ASL TA Certification
