MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Environmental, Transportation & Safety

Perspectives Corporation is now hiring a Maintenance Technician to work in our Environmental, Transportation & Safety department.


OVERVIEW


Under general supervision of the Environmental, Transportation & Safety Coordinator, performs a variety of work in the general maintenance and repair of grounds, office facility and equipment. Performs related duties and projects as assigned.


Responsibilities:

Facilitates the general maintenance and repair/replacement of buildings, property furniture, fixtures, or equipment which includes mechanical, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, carpentry, and painting repair and maintenance.

JOB REQUIREMENTS


Minimal Qualifications

  • Knowledge of machinery and tools, including uses, repair and maintenance
  • Ability to operate power equipment such as mowers, tractors, electric clippers, and pruning saws. Ensure that all tools running at optimal performance
  • Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what type of maintenance is needed
  • Experience in light to medium carpentry
  • Experience in routine electrical repair and installation
  • Experience in plumbing repair
  • Experience in installation of dishwashers, washers and dryers
  • Own the tools to perform the above tasks
  • Able to perform general physical activities
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull a minimum of 75 lbs.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, access to an insured vehicle, and a favorable driving record.
  • Must have a favorable Criminal Background Check (BCI)
  • Knowledge of computer operation and use of smart phone

Desired Qualifications

  • Have a working knowledge of all Perspectives Corporation program sites and facilities
