MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Environmental, Transportation & Safety
$25 - $37 per hour based on experience
Perspectives Corporation is now hiring a Maintenance Technician to work in our Environmental, Transportation & Safety department.
OVERVIEW
Under general supervision of the Director of Environmental, Transportation & Safety, the Maintenance Technician performs a variety of work in the general maintenance and repair of residential and office facilities, grounds, and equipment. Responsibilities include assembling furniture and fixtures, monitoring building systems such as boilers and generators, diagnosing infrastructure issues, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and completing related projects as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 5–7 years experience in advanced carpentry and framing techniques, door/window installation, stair/deck/railing work, and plumbing/HVAC/electrical repair
- Ability to operate power equipment such as mowers, tractors, electric clippers, and pruning saws
- Experience with appliance installation (dishwashers, washers, dryers)
- Own tools needed to perform the above tasks
- Knowledge of quality control and code compliance
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to perform general physical activities; must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 75 lbs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license, access to an insured vehicle, and a favorable driving record
- Favorable Criminal Background Check (BCI)
- Knowledge of computer operation and smartphone use
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of all Perspectives Corporation program sites and facilities
- Journeyman or Master Carpenter credentials
- HVAC or EPA certification
