OVERVIEW
The HR Assistant is responsible for providing support to the HR Department ensuring quality human resource and training services to employees.
Providing comprehensive, reliable assistance and support to the Human Resources Department. Maintains electronic records and Sandata, ensuring accuracy. Provides administrative support to recruitment efforts. Exceptionally follows through with communication to applicants and employees (including but not limited to email, texts, calls, etc). Assists with additional HR and training projects and provides agency training upon request, as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 4-year college degree or a 2-year degree or certificate in the human resources or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in assisting Human Resource Professionals
- Strong computer and technology skills, including experience with Microsoft Windows and software:
- Microsoft Word
- Excel
- Power Point
- Database (Sandata Dataplus, ProviderPro)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to multi-task
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to speak/present in front of large groups
- High level of organizational skills
- Able to work independently, with excellent time management skills
- Able to prioritize tasks and priorities
- Must be able to problem solve and take initiative
- Maintains high level of confidentiality of employee records
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of experience with Microsoft Applications and PowerPoint
- 1-2 years Human Resources experience, including recruitment, hiring, employee records, and training.
- Experience in HRIS – Applicant Tracking and Employee Data Bases
- Current notary and experience notarizing documents
