DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL
Transitional School Services (TSS)
Perspectives Corporation has year-round part time positions to work in our Transitional School Service program.
OVERVIEW
Our school programming is highly individualized as we ensure that the identified goals in a student's Individual Education Plan are carried out across all environments and settings. Most often we focus on the vocational needs of students who are in their final years of high school, where we arrange internships with businesses throughout Rhode Island. In essence, we create a classroom in the community, one that enhances a student's future work potential and prepares them and their families for the upcoming transition to adulthood.
Part time positions are available to work with high school students with special needs. Typical schedules are Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am-3pm.
TRAINING
Perspectives' New Employee Orientation program provides a welcoming, in-depth training experience to accommodate those who have never worked with people with developmental disabilities.
