As a Direct Support Professional, you'll engage the people we support in a variety of social settings, helping them to achieve their goals while creating opportunities for greater independence.

In our Community-Based Services programs, you'll empower people to:

• Become involved in their community through activities they enjoy
• Discover new opportunities to get involved with other people who have similar interests
• Gain and sustain meaningful employment
• Build and maintain relationships with family and friends

In our Independent Living programs, you'll also help people to:

• Manage their healthcare needs, such as following through with appointments
• Practice financial skills, such as budgeting and making purchases
• Participate in maintaining a clean, comfortable home

TRAINING

Perspectives' New Employee Orientation program provides a welcoming, in-depth training experience to accommodate those who have never worked with people with developmental disabilities.
