Perspectives Corporation is now hiring an Department Assistant to work in our Administration department.
OVERVIEW
Responsibilities:
The Department Assistant is responsible for completing projects for multiple departments. Projects may include scanning, renaming and saving files, data entry and other projects as assigned. In addition, the Department Assistant is responsible for providing coverage at the main office reception desk on Fridays from 8:00-4:30pm and fill-in for the Receptionist during lunch breaks and time away from the office. Duties include minimal phone answering, greeting visitors, accepting deliveries, distributing paychecks, opening and closing the office, opening and distributing mail, and distributing faxes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimal Qualifications
- Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Windows and software:
- Word processing (Word)
- Spreadsheets (Excel)
- Presentations (PowerPoint)
- Database (Solana, ProviderPro, Client Care)
- Typing skills with accuracy
- Able to work independently, with excellent time management skills
- High level of organizational skills
- Effective, professional oral and written communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Effective communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to incorporate appropriate phone etiquette
- Must present with professionalism at all times especially with visitors in the office
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Receptionist experience helpful
- Experience using American Sign Language
