Perspectives Corporation is now hiring a Support Specialist to work in our Information Technology (IT) department.
OVERVIEW
Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing support to the Information Technology Department (250+ computers) by supporting users and technology equipment throughout the agency (sites range from North Smithfield to Westerly).
Providing comprehensive and reliable assistance to all computer and network users; under direct supervision maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals; documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems; supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups; assisting with implementation of new systems, software and hardware.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimal Qualifications
- 2 Years of experience in providing computer support
- Strong computer skills including installation, configuration and troubleshooting experience.
- Help desk experience providing users with telephone, remote and on-site technical support
- Management and Tracking of Hardware/Software Inventory
- Experience with writing User Documentation/Instructions
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Able to prioritize and multi-task
- Strong organizational skills
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
- Good time management skills
- Valid driver’s license, insured vehicle
- Must have reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience in providing computer support
- Strong computer skills including installation, configuration and troubleshooting experience with:
- Operating Systems:
- Microsoft Windows 10/11 / Server 2019
- VMware / Sonicwall / Barracuda
- Technology Equipment / Hardware:
- Client Server Domain environment
- Sonicwall Firewall / VPN
- Dell / Lenovo Desktop & Laptop Computers
- Ruckus / Ubiquiti Access Points
- Printers / Fax machines / Scanners / Projectors
- Software:
- Microsoft Office – All versions
- Symantec End-Point Management Console
- Operating Systems:
