Behavior Technician

OVERVIEW


We're currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Home-Based Therapeutic Services (HBTS) Behavior Technicians. In this role, you'll provide in-home support to a child with Autism, disabilities, or other special healthcare needs.

Working alongside an experienced clinical team and senior level staff, you'll use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and other therapy approaches to help that child develop the skills they need to become more independent in all areas of their development, including:

  • Social skills
  • Daily living skills
  • Self-help skills
  • Cognitive skills
  • Functional communication skills
  • And behavior management

Flexible Schedules

We understand that you lead a busy life, which is why we offer flexible shifts between 2:00pm-7:00pm M-F. Whether you're a college student with a packed schedule or someone with other commitments, we make it easy for you to fit this opportunity into your busy day.

Positions are available at various locations throughout Rhode Island, including Woonsocket, Providence, Pawtucket, Cumberland, North Smithfield, Cranston, Warwick, Coventry, and North Kingstown.

We're also interested in bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates.

JOB REQUIREMENTS


To become a Behavior Technician, you must have at least one year of college level education or currently be enrolled in a minimum of 6 college credits. Candidates should also have a favorable background check, favorable driving record, and DCYF clearance.
