Outpatient Counseling Services
Perspectives specializes in working with Deaf people and their families and we are committed to:
- Confidential, strengths-based, and nonjudgmental therapy services
- A culturally sensitive and Deaf-friendly environment
- Clear, direct, and effective communication
Our team of therapists offers people, couples, and family counseling appointments directly in American Sign Language (ASL) or spoken English. All of our clinicians are Deaf or have extensive experience working within the Deaf community and understand the experiences unique to this community. We welcome all members of the Deaf community, including CODAs, families in which a child may be newly identified as deaf or hard of hearing, and late-deafened adults. We also have a robust interpreting department, including Deaf Interpreters, available to all our counseling clients.
Payments Accepted: Insurance (Medicare, Medicaid - NHP or Optum, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Tufts - coming soon) or credit card. Sliding scale available for private pay.
Telehealth appointments available on a secure platform. Evening hours available. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic only limited in person appointments are available at the clinician’s discretion.
