SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Home-Based Therapeutic Services

Perspectives Corporation is seeking a per diem licensed Speech and Language Therapist (SLP) to assist in our Youth and Family Home Based Therapeutic Service (HBTS) Programs. We offer a broad continuum of mental health and educational services for children from ages 2 through age 21.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Speech Language Pathologistis responsible for the assessment, treatment, and monitoring of children that require treatment for speech, hearing, and/or language deficits. The SLP will refer to the goals designated within a child's Individualized Education Plan to offer treatment that will assist them to communicate more effectively. The SLP will work cooperatively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure goals are met.

REQUIREMENTS

Master's Degree as an SLP from an accredited school of SLP and current licensure in the State of RI is required. Prior experience working with pediatric patients is preferred.
