Director of Non-24hr Services

The Director of Non-24 Hour Services is responsible for the supervision and management of non-24 hour supported program environments for adults with various disabilities. Responsibilities include: Mentors and trains Management Positions, responds appropriately to emergency situations; oversees the delivery of person-centered supports; assists individuals with identifying and accessing community resource; assesses the overall effectiveness and operations of Adult Day Services, Community-based services, Independent Living Services, and Self-directed Services. This responsibility is fulfilled through planning, organizing, coordinating, and monitoring the staff and systems within these programs.

As Director of Non-24hr Services you will also be responsible for:

  • Participating in agency activities, serving on committees, and communicating the agency's values and principles to others
  • Coordinating and monitoring effective activities
  • Providing training and mentoring to new and existing employees
  • Summarizing data on progress

Minimal Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 year of direct support experience in community human services
  • Knowledge of Perspectives’ policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of BHDDH’s licensing regulations & certification standards
  • Familiarity with the compliance licensing regulations and certification standards
  • Ensures homes are safe, well maintained, comfortable and free from hazards
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Previous residential management experience
  • Proven management and leadership ability
  • Strong decision-making skills, good judgment and the ability to effectively advocate on behalf of people who have disabilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications and the ability to work with database systems
  • Valid driver’s license, access to insured vehicle and favorable driving record

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's Degree or equivalent
  • Person-centered Thinking Facilitator/Advisor Training Certificate of Completion
