ASL Training Specialists teach ASL classes for current Perspectives employees and members of the community. The ASL Training Specialist will provide ongoing support to participants, providing 1:1 support if needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimal Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalents
- Previous facilitation of training experience
- Strong presentation and public-speaking abilities
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent inter-personal skills
- Ability to be proactive, self-motivated and self-directed
- Fluent in American Sign Language
- Awareness of and sensitivity to Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHOH) culture
- Flexible schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel & Word
- ASL TA Certification
