Perspectives is now hiring a full-time Clinical Supervisor (LICSW, LCSW, BCBA, LMHC, LMFT) to work in our Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Services programs.

Perspectives provides an array of therapeutic services accessible to individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in Rhode Island from home-based early intervention programs to adult residential and day supports.

Responsibliities of the Clinical Supervisor include:

  • Assessments: responsible for supervising treatment plans and reporting on goals and objectives during treatment renewal intervals, providing on-going assessment of progress and potential treatment needs
  • Treatment Planning: developing treatment plans for all individuals on caseload as well as working with the specialized clinical team assigned
  • Crisis Intervention: availability to provide support and consultation to family and staff
  • Documentation: keeping all treatment and case records current with required agency and state documentation
  • Policies and Procedures: ensures all agency policies and procedures are adhered to and implemented correctly

Minimal Qualifications:

  • Licensed clinician (LICSW, LCSW, BCBA, LMHC, LMFT)
  • Eligibility to be licensed in Rhode Island
  • Broad base of knowledge including functional assessment, treatment planning, and program development
  • Experience working with people with disabilities in a variety of settings
  • Ability to collaborate professionally with team members and families
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Contributes to a culturally affirmative and inclusive professional environment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five (5) years professional experience with Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals
  • Experience in mental health, developmental disabilities, and behavioral interventions
  • Experience accessing community mental health and other resources in a variety of settings
  • Proficient in use of common work place technologies
  • Experience in providing education and training
  • Flexible schedule to meet the needs of individuals
  • Native or near-native ASL fluency preferred
