Perspectives 8th Annual Family Skate
Beautiful weather and warm sunshine did not keep the die hard skaters away! Sunday March 21st was a gorgeous spring day! but the friends and families of Perspectives Corporation just had to stay inside for one more winter-like event. The Annual Family Skate at the Boss Ice Arena on the URI campus.

For the 8th consecutive year, Perspectives took to the ice for a fun filled day, as over 200 employees, families and friends laced up for an afternoon of skating and socializing. The URI Boss Ice Arena was alive and well with great music, energy, and laughter as the ice filled up quickly with a steady stream of skaters. Races, dances, fancy moves and wipe-outs alike adorned the ice from 11-2pm. As in past years, all participants were provided with a great long sleeve T-shirt to celebrate the event, delicious snacks, and complimentary skate rentals. Endurance was not an issue for many, as the youngest of the skaters seemed to be the longest on the ice. Participants ranged from toddlers through adulthood, some using milk crates to stabilize, some just closing their eyes, and hoping for the best!

Bumps, bruises, and sore ankles aside. It was another great day on the ice. Hope to see you next year. Keep your eyes open for the great photos and video to follow!
